We are an experimental research group located at the Department of Physics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy). Here, we strive to gain deeper insights into phenomena occurring at the nanoscale, and to use this knowledge to create advanced, functional materials with useful applications. In our efforts, we collaborate closely with other experimental and theoretical research groups worldwide. Our current research interests include:

1) Synthesis and electronic properties of silicene

2) Investigation of the anisotropic properties of Ge-based layered materials

3) Oxidation mechanisms of two-dimensional materials

4) Integration of graphene with CMOS technology
