Nice presentation at ICN+T 2021 conference by our PhD student Miriam Galbiati! She gave an overview of our recent work on graphene grown on Ge(011).
We can finally travel again! We will be at ELLETTRA, the Italian synchrotron radiation facility, 5/12 to 5/19 to run some great experiments at BACH beamline. Looking forward to it!
By using STM, ARPES and DFT simulations we have studied the electronic properties of graphene directly grown on a traditional semiconductor. Our latest study on field emission from ultra-thin film of GeAs has been accepted for publication in Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics. Congratulation everybody! Follow this link for more information: https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6463/abcc91
Our latest work on the spontaneous adsorption of ions on graphene at the interface with electrolytes is now on-line! Congratulations to all the coauthors. Ref.: J. Sun et al. Appl. Phys. Lett. 117, 203102 (2020)
Our PhD student Miriam Galbiati has been selected to give an oral contribution to Graphene Canada! On Monday 16th November at 12:45 a.m. Eastern time (Canada) she will give a talk titled:Tuning the doping of epitaxial graphene on a conventional semiconductor via substrate surface reconstruction. Good luck Miriam!
I have been invited to give a lecture at CIMTEC 2021– 15th International Ceramics Congress & 9th Forum on New Materials that will be held in Montecatini Terme, Italy, June 21 to 30, 2021. The title of my lecture is: Thickness and Lateral Engineering of 2D Materials. I want to thank Dr. Pietro Vincenzini, General […]
